This line chart shows the decrease in crimes in the United States in the past five years. You can see the obvious decrease in crimes, but in some areas in the United States, crimes can be rising while other areas can be increasing. In general, the United States is not ranked in the top 50 most dangerous countries in the world. Averagely, the United States is mutual in their crimes.

This pie chart shows what type of crime is committed the most in the United States. This data comes from the crimes committed in 2014, because 2015 crimes are not fully collected until the year is over. Larceny, which is 62% of the crimes committed in the United States, is theft of personal property. This can cover the motor vehicle theft as well. The second most common crime in the United State is burglary. The charges between larceny and burglary are different because burglary is taking something from someones personal presence, while larceny is depriving someone of their personal use.
